Operation of Rezvan Iron Concentrate Factory in May

The governor of Hormozgan, while visiting the mine and the project of Rezvan Iron Concentrate Factory, issued the necessary orders in order to expedite the commissioning and prepare the development plan for this factory.

According to the Borna news agency in Hormozgan, Hemmati, accompanied by the Hormozgan governor’s deputy for economic affairs and the head of the Hormozgan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, visited the Rezvan iron ore mine, the largest iron ore mine in Hormozgan.

On the sidelines of visiting this mineral zone, he said: Rezvan mine has a definite reserve of 20 million tons and six million tons of mining operations are carried out annually from which two million minerals are extracted.

The governor of Hormozgan said: the reopening and supplementary explorations of this mine started in 2015 and for the operation of this mine, infrastructures including six kilometers of asphalt roads, 9 kilometers of steel pipelines and 13 kilometers of high-pressure two-circuit networks have been created.

Hemmati pointed out: Currently, 117 people are directly employed in this mine.

The governor of Hormozgan also visited the Rezvan iron concentrate plant, which is being set up near the mine and has more than 95% physical progress, and issued the necessary orders to expedite the commissioning and operation of this project.

In this visit, at the request of the CEO of this mining factory and by the order of the governor of Hormozgan, increasing the required land area, electricity consumption voltage and increasing the share of water to launch the development plan of this factory was on the agenda.

The governor of Hormozgan, stating that this factory is being set up with an investment of 1000 billion Tomans, said: its annual input capacity is 2.3 million tons of iron ore feed, which will eventually lead to the production of one million tons of concentrate.

He added: in order to complete the steel production chain, the development plan of Padideh Kavosh Iranian Company for the production of pellets by direct reduction method in the Persian Gulf Special Industrial Zone will be formed from next year.

Hemmati stated: “Also in the coming years, the launch of another two million ton line is foreseen in the development plan of Rezvan iron concentrate factory.”

He said: “Currently, 300 jobs have been created for the installation and commissioning period, of which 170 are natives of the region and 130 are specialists from other cities of the country, and by exploiting the Rezvan iron concentrate factory, 400 people will be directly employed.” شد.

The governor of Hormozgan, referring to the duties and social responsibilities of active mining industries and companies, especially in rural areas, said: construction of four kilometers of rural and agricultural roads, improvement and renovation of Rezvan power line, construction of Rezvan rural bridge in Begood region, improvement of rural roads Helping to provide the educational items needed by Rezvan schools for 2 km has been one of the works done by this company in the field of social responsibilities.

Hemmati pointed out: The executive operation of this factory started in March of 1997 and according to forecasts, its initial commissioning will take place in mid-March of this year and it will be put into operation in late May of next year.
